As aids to graduate education, Washington State University offers graduate assistantships to qualified students who have been admitted to the University. Teaching assistantships are available to qualified graduate students through most academic departments. Research assistantships are available in many departments, special programs, and through extra-murally funded research grants.
Most assistantships include a tuition waiver, health insurance, and monthly stipend. Graduate assistants are required to work 20 hours per week during the semester in which they receive the assistantship.
Contact your department for teaching and research assistantships.
